Ingredients:
- 2 cups flour
- 2 tsp sugar
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 cup sliced spinach leaves
- 1 cup milk
- 1/3 cup oil
- 1 large egg
- 1& 1/2 tbsp crushed red pepper
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees F, spray 8x4 loaf pan
- In large bowl combine flour, sugar, baking powder, pepper, salt, and spinach
- In separate bowl combine milk, oil, and egg. Whisk together
- Pour liquid mixture into dry mixture and stir lightly, the batter should be lumpy
- Pour batter into loaf pan
- Bake bread for about 45 minutes until golden brown
- Cool in pan for 10 minutes and then let cool completely on a wire rack
